Ubuntu LogoArguably one of the finest and easiest end user Linux distributions, but is also available for servers and netbooks.

'Ubuntu' is an African word which means people are who they are because of the community. The two meanings quoted on the Ubuntu site are 'Humanity to others' and 'I am what I am because of who we all are' (see here). This is the basic philosiphy of the entire Ubuntu community.
